5 tips to extend the life of your candles

Taking care of the candles we can ensure that they have a longer useful life. By applying a few simple tricks to the regular use of each candle, you will be able to make better use of them and keep them beautiful for longer.

Every time you light the candle make sure you do it for a long time, especially the first time you light its wick. Lighting the candle in short bursts of 10 minutes will cause the wax to burn unevenly.
When turning them on, keep them away from any draft. This will prevent it from being consumed quickly and irregularly.
After each use, the wick must be trimmed between 0.5 and 0.8 cm, leaving it at about 0.3 cm. If the wick is too long or if it is crooked, the candle will burn unevenly and worsen combustion. The first time you turn it on, you don’t need to cut it.
Don’t let the candles burn out to the end. For candles with a container, it is best to leave 2 cm and for those that come without anything, approximately 4 cm.
When putting out the candle, use a snuffer or cover them until they run out of oxygen. Never blow, this will create black smoke.

By following these tips, your candles will have a much longer useful life and you will be able to enjoy their essence for longer.
